Introduction Of Drying Brewers Grain

Alcohol industry is an important basic raw material industry in the national economy. It is widely used in chemical industry, food industry, daily chemical, medicine and health fields. With the rapid development of alcohol industry, a series of problems have emerged, and brewers grain is one of the serious pollution problems to be solved. After so many years of development, the processing of brewers grain is about the following types:

first is processing the brewers grain by simple solid-liquid separation, residue’s water content after separation is about 85%, and directly sold as feed, the liquid after separation processed by anaerobic (or aerobic) treatment (referred to as solid-liquid separation - anaerobic process).

The second is separating brewers grain, the residue water content is generally less than 70% after the separation, saled as feed after dryed, the waste liquid after separation is further processed by anaerobic (or aerobic) Treatment (DDG-fed oxygen treatment process).

The third category is the direct evaporation of brewers grain’s liquid , residue and the filtrate liquid is concentrated dryed, processed into feed and saled, (referred to as DDGS process). Specifically composition by the sections of solid-liquid separation process, the filtrate concentration and drying.
